Please read Vahsh® terms and conditions carefully before booking appointments. By booking services you are agreeing to the terms and conditions herein.  

Consultations, training, and behavior assessments policy:

• All Vahsh clients must show proof of veterinary health checks, and up-to-date vaccinations before consulting or training appointments. 
• Vahsh accepts no liability if problems become worse or do not improve. 
• Vahsh does not guarantee results. 
• Animal behavior can be unpredictable, and there are no guarantees following the implementation of Vahsh behavioral assessment and training outcomes. Clients should be aware of this possibility. 
• Time and commitment from clients are required. 
• Implementation of agreed-upon protocols is the responsibility of the owner. 
• Full cooperation from the owner is needed. Vahsh may recommend veterinary assistance to the client. This should be prioritized by the owner.
•  Vahsh offers guidance and makes recommendations based on presenting canine concerns as described by the client. Behavior consultations and training appointment locations will be determined and agreed upon at the time of booking. 
• Vahsh will provide assessment and treatment plans based on information provided by the client, industry knowledge, and research-based protocols. 
• Full disclosure of medical and behavioral history from the client is required. 
• By booking appointments, clients agree that their canine is dog-friendly.
• Clients are responsible to clean up after their dogs.
• Clients are required to disclose any instances of human aggression, canine bite history, or history of canine aggression. Failure to do so can result in termination of services. 

Children participating in consultations, training, and behavioral assessments policy

• Children are the responsibility of the guardian or parent present.  
• Vahsh accepts no liability if problems occur during appointments due to children and their behavior. 
• Vahsh reserves the right to terminate services based on safety concerns related to children's behavior.

Payment Terms

• All payment options are laid out on the Vahsh website under 'Book Appointments'. 

Cancelations and No-Shows

• A 24-hour cancelation policy is enforced for consultation and training services. Failure to do so will result in a 50% charge of the original fee.
• A 72-hour cancellation policy is enforced for pet sitting services. Failure to do so will result in a 50% charge of the original fee.

Cancelation by Vahsh

• If the cancellation of booking is due to Vahsh every effort will be made to provide a solution to the client. If there is no available solution, a refund will be provided to the client within 14 days of cancelation.

Refunds

• Refunds are not available for services.
• If a consultation and training service is canceled less than 24 hours in advance, no refund will be provided. 
• If a pet-sitting service is canceled less than 72 hours in advance, no refund will be provided. 

General Policy

• Acceptance of the service of Vahshconstitutes acceptance of our policy and conditions of business. There will be no variation in the policy unless confirmed in writing. All services are subject to availability. 

Equipment and Gear

• Vahsh uses non-aversive training techniques or techniques based on appropriate dog behavior and psychology. Prong/pinch collars, electronic collars, citronella collars, ultrasonic collars, anti-pull harnesses, any device that emits a noise intended for punishment or interruption in an abrupt manner. Any other device used to punish, cause fear, or intimidate. Failure to comply with this section of the terms and conditions may result in termination of service without a refund. 
• Clients should use flat colors with standard trigger hook lead or slip leads.

Animal Health and Vaccinations

• All puppies and dogs are required to be fully vaccinated. Clients must show proof of vaccination at their first class. 
• Vaccination records must be updated with Vahsh every 6 months. 
• Non spayed or neutered animals must complete a temperament assessment before participating in services. 
• Please do not participate in services if your dog is not feeling well.
• Please do not participate in services if your female dog is in heat

Owners Code of Conduct

• Aggressive or inappropriate behavior from the owner may result in termination of services, with no refund. 

Release of Liability and Photography

I HEREBY ASSUME ALL OF THE RISKS OF PARTICIPATING AND/OR VOLUNTEERING IN THIS ANIMAL TRAINING or BEHAVIOUR SESSION, including by way of example and not limitation, any risks that may arise from negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities being released from dangerous or defective equipment or property owned, maintained, or controlled by them, or because of their possible liability without fault. I understand that attending a pet/animal training/behavior session poses a risk to myself, the guests, children, and my animal. I understand if I have brought children along for the class or are present at the session, I am solely responsible for them. 

I acknowledge that this Accident Waiver and Release of Liability Form will be used by the event holders, sponsors, and organizers of the activity or event in which I may participate and that it will govern my actions and responsibilities at said activity or event. In consideration of my application and permitting me to participate in this event, I hereby take action for myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors, and assigns as follows: 

(A) I WAIVE, RELEASE, AND DISCHARGE from all liability, including but not limited to, liability arising from the negligence or fault of the entities or persons released, for my death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft, death of my pet, injury to my pet, or actions of any kind which may hereafter occur to me including my traveling to and from this event. I understand I enter land or property intended for activity use at my own risk.

THE FOLLOWING ENTITIES OR PERSONS: Vahsh, their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, representatives, and agents, the activity or event holders, activity or event sponsors, activity or event volunteers; landowners; land representatives; land leaseholders or their representatives. 

(B) I HAVE DISCLOSED all relevant information regarding my dog/animal, its sensitivities, any aggression problems, situations that provoke my dog/animal. I will immediately inform the trainer if any situation arises that provokes my dog and take full responsibility for avoiding these situations. 

(C) I INDEMNIFY, HOLD HARMLESS, AND PROMISE NOT TO SUE the entities or persons mentioned in this paragraph from all liabilities or claims made as a result of participation in this activity or event, whether caused by the negligence of release or otherwise. I acknowledge that VAHSH and its directors, officers, volunteers, representatives, and agents are NOT responsible for the errors, omissions, acts, or failures to act of any party or entity conducting a specific event or activity. I understand they are not responsible for the quality of land or any injuries which may occur when I am at the training venue. 

I understand that at this event or related activities, I may be photographed and/or filmed. I agree to allow my photo, video, or film likeness to be used for any legitimate purpose by the event holders, producers, sponsors, organizers and assigns. I hereby waive any right to inspect or approve the use of the images or recordings or any written copy. I further waive all moral rights. I also waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of the images, recordings, or materials. I hereby release, defend, indemnify and hold harmless the producers from and against any claims, damages, or liability arising from or related to the use of the images, recordings, or materials, including but not limited to claims of defamation, invasion of privacy, or rights of publicity or copyright infringement, or any misuse, distortion, blurring, alteration, optical illusion or use in composite form that may occur or be produced in taking, processing, reduction or production of the finished product, its publication or distribution. The accident waiver and release of liability shall be construed broadly to provide a release and waiver to the maximum extent permissible under applicable law.

I CERTIFY THAT I HAVE READ THIS DOCUMENT, AND I FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENT. I AM AWARE THAT THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND A CONTRACT AND I SIGN IT OF MY OWN FREE WILL.  

I am 18 years of age or older and I am competent to contract in my name. I have read this document before signing below, and I fully understand the contents, meaning, and impact of this consent, waiver, indemnity, and release. This consent, waiver, indemnity, and release are binding on me, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns.
