Erin is a Licensed Master Social Worker who works as a Mental Health Counselor in the
Coeur d’Alene area. She completed her undergraduate degree through Lewis-Clark State College and graduate degree through Boise State University, both in Social Work. Her practice focuses on Animal-Assisted Interventions (A-AI) with children, K-12. Erin's

Her practice focuses on Animal-Assisted Interventions (A-AI) with children, K-12. Erin's facility animal program, Humane Connection (HC) was adopted by Coeur d’Alene Schools in 2024. She currently directs their HC program.

Blue was the “good dog” who started it all. Blue’s presence in Erin’s life inspired the creation of Humane Connection and motivated her to open Vahsh, LLC. Sadly, Blue passed away on 07/23/26. He was a patient, intuitive, guardian who will be missed tremendously.
